Dear Friends,

Starting a blog in the midst fo a pandemic and a lockdown might sound fool.

For me its the oposite, it seemed that these times should be for sharing, especially when the challenge in question is “Quinta das Leiras”, whose beauty, interests and opinions I would like to share with you.

After several years providing this surprising space with many of you, I decided not to lower my arms and to share it, even if only virtually, to all those who love nature, simple life and peace.

I am proud to be the continuation of a project born in the 1970s, the work of a visionary who fell in love with a hill that was just that, and which, as a result of hard work and much effort, has become a place of magic and well-being. The takeaways of our visitors and guests are full of good memories, which is the highest reward we aim for.

And because we are aware of the challenges ahead, we promise to ensure that “Quinta das Leiras” continues, as always, to be concerned with environmental and sustainability issues.
